We recently had the amazing opportunity to talk about the secure use of AI at the OAMK & University of Oulu Business Corner. It made me think back to a similar talk last spring and wonder, “How many people here believe AI will change their work soon?” Last year, maybe 20% felt that way. But now? I’m sure it’s everyone. The energy – a mix of nerves and excitement – was off the charts.
In 2023, it was kinda okay if companies were still on the fence about using AI. But now, in 2024, it’s a whole different game. Finland is starting to trail behind other Nordic countries in getting things done. It’s not just about the tech – it’s about the hesitation to adapt and evolve.
But here’s the good news: There’s still time to jump on the AI train. But don’t wait around. Your competitors are already zooming ahead, and your customers are expecting smarter, AI-driven services. Diving into AI might feel like a shot in the dark at first, but trust me, you’ll get the hang of it. Dive in, or get left behind dealing with endless price cuts and wasting time on tasks that should be automated. The choice is yours!
