AI

AI services for businesses

AI only delivers value once it's connected to real work and real data. We always start with what you do today — not with whatever tool happens to be trending right now.

How we work

The way we work

Our work is built on automated remote management. Cloud services, devices, AI agents and security are under continuous monitoring, so most problems are resolved before they interrupt anyone's work — and the rest are handled over a remote connection without waiting.

We don't sell hardware. We help you specify and tender equipment purchases, and we bring new devices under management as they are deployed. Assignments that require hands-on physical work are handled through our partner network.

We focus on what we do best: rolling out AI, managing IT environments, cybersecurity, and building your team's skills.

Working together

How we get started

  1. 01

    Assessment (45 min)

We go through your current situation: what systems you use, where time gets lost, and where your security stands today.

  2. 02

    Plan and price

You get a written proposal with scope, timeline and a fixed price. Updates, licenses and work with flexible billing — no HR worries.

  3. 03

    Rollout

We handle the switch from your current provider, train your staff, and document the environment.

  4. 04

    Ongoing development

Regular reviews: what's working, and what's worth automating next.

Frequently asked questions

Questions and answers

IT and security

What's included in IT outsourcing, and what does it cost?

Valfi's IT outsourcing covers remote endpoint management and security, software licenses, cloud service management, layered security, automatic backups, continuous monitoring and user support in English and Finnish. The service is priced as a fixed monthly fee, agreed after an assessment based on user count and environment. Budgeting stays predictable, with no hourly billing.

Do you manage workstations and endpoint devices?

Yes. We bring workstations and mobile devices under centralised remote management, so operating system and software updates, security settings, disk encryption and software deployment all happen automatically without the user having to do anything. Management is automated and continuous, not a series of one-off checks.

What does automated device management mean in practice?

The management tool continuously tracks the health of every device: boot times, disk space, memory usage, battery health, update status and the state of security software. When the metrics start to deteriorate, we fix the situation before the user notices a problem. In practice that means fewer sluggish machines and fewer interruptions to the working day. The same view also shows which devices are nearing the end of their life cycle, so replacements can be budgeted in advance instead of arriving as a surprise.

Do you buy or supply the hardware?

We don't sell hardware. We help you specify and tender equipment purchases, advise on which configuration fits the actual use case, and bring the new device under management as it is deployed. This keeps us independent of hardware vendors, so we can recommend what is best for you — not what would earn us the best margin.

What if a device breaks?

We diagnose the fault through remote management, and we can restore settings and software onto a new device remotely, so work continues without a long interruption. Anything that requires hands-on physical work is handled through our partner network.

Which areas does Valfi serve?

We serve clients across Finland and internationally. Our office is in Oulu, Finland (Kiilakiventie 1). IT services and support are delivered remotely, which means a fast response regardless of location. Training and keynotes are delivered either remotely or on your premises as agreed.

How quickly do we get help when something goes wrong?

In critical situations we typically begin investigating within an hour of being contacted. Most issues are resolved remotely during the same contact. Thanks to continuous monitoring, we catch a significant share of incidents before they show up in everyday work.

How easy is it to switch IT partners?

We handle the transition on a turnkey basis. We contact your current provider, migrate licenses and documentation, and make sure your operations aren't interrupted during the switch.

AI and training

What AI services does Valfi offer businesses?

Valfi offers SMEs AI training (AI Keynote, AI Workshop, AI Security), building AI agents and automations, connecting your own company data to a language model (RAG), AI features for e-commerce, and computer-vision solutions such as people counting. We also offer AI adoption consulting and help drafting usage guidelines.

How much does AI training cost?

Valfi's AI training courses cost €1,500–3,800 + VAT depending on scope, ranging from a 1.5-hour keynote to a full training day. The price includes tailoring the content to your organisation's industry and job roles.

What is an AI agent, and how do SMEs use one?

An AI agent is software that carries out multi-step tasks independently using a language model — it doesn't just answer questions, it does the work. Typical use cases for SMEs include processing and classifying incoming messages, extracting data from invoices and orders, first-line customer service, and compiling reports from multiple systems.

Can we use AI without our company data leaving the building?

Yes. We build local AI solutions where an open-source language model runs on your own hardware or local network. No data ever leaves for the cloud or for training the model. This is especially suited to organisations handling trade secrets or sensitive personal data.

How do you ensure security and GDPR compliance when using AI?

We draw up written AI usage guidelines for your company: what data may be entered into which tool, how personal data is handled, and how usage is monitored. Our AI Security training puts those rules into practice. Where needed, we implement the solution locally, which substantially simplifies GDPR considerations.

Who delivers the training at Valfi?

AI training is led by Valtteri Kujala, an AI trainer and keynote speaker. He has trained at events for organisations including BusinessOulu, the City of Oulu, OAMK and the Rastor Institute.
