What data we process
- Forms and email: name, email address, company, message and any other details you provide.
- Technical data: IP address, browser details and timestamp, processed by the server to deliver pages and prevent misuse.
We use this data to respond to enquiries and manage customer relationships (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b) and (f)) and to keep the website working and secure (Art. 6(1)(f)). We do not use it for profiling and will not add you to a mailing list without your consent.
Disclosure and retention
Your data is never sold or disclosed for marketing. It is processed on our behalf only by the service providers we use to run the website and deliver email. If data is processed outside the EU/EEA, the transfer relies on a Commission adequacy decision or standard contractual clauses.
Enquiries are kept for as long as handling the matter or the customer relationship requires. Technical logs are deleted automatically after a short period. Traffic is encrypted, and only the people handling your data can access it.
Your rights
You can request access to, correction, erasure or transfer of your data, or object to or restrict its processing, by writing to tuki@valfi.com. You can also lodge a complaint with the Finnish Data Protection Ombudsman (tietosuoja.fi) or the supervisory authority in your country.
